About Dana Berez

My name is Dana Berez and I am a travel blogger based in New York City. I moved to NYC from Milwaukee, WI to study and have been here ever since.

About DanaBerez.com

I am a travel blogger and influencer and share my travels with my audience. It all started by sharing my travels on my Instagram account and eventually my followers started to grow and I started to gain traction on there. In 2019 is when I became a full time blogger and influencer.

The reason why I started was because I was working at a luxury home staging company in New York City and I wasn’t feeling fully fulfilled with the work that I was doing. I also had to work multiple restaurant and hospitality jobs in order to maintain my lifestyle in the city.

I decided to start sharing the few vacations that I was taking with my partner and sharing it on social media and within a year or so my account had grown to over 60,000 instagram followers and now we are currently at 117,000 followers.

The way in which I got my followers on Instagram was through consistently posting on a daily basis and engaging with my current and potential audience as well as like minded creators.

I posted nearly every single day for the first year that I started sharing my travels to my account and I would say that was the most impactful key to my growth on Instagram.

How Does Your Company Grow And Acquire New Customers?

One of the main revenue sources for my business is sponsors and I am always looking to bring in and maintain existing sponsor relationships that I have already cultivated and resonate well with my audience. A way that I grow that revenue stream is through trying out new products, services and traveling to new places to see what I could recommend. I will then recommend the best of the best and the products and services that I genuinely believe in and that I think will work for my readers and audience.

Another way I have grown my business and acquired new customers is through diversifying my revenue streams and developing my own digital products. The digital products that I have on my website, I promote on social media but I also do content marketing surrounding the products to reach my target audience and potential customer.

That is is hard work! I have friends and family who still think that all I do is go on vacation and get free products all day long. While it looks like that from the surface there is a considerable amount of work that goes into being a travel blogger and influencer.

A memorable pinch me moment was on a trip with the tourism board of Thailand having a Michelin star dinner overlooking the Bangkok skyline and realizing “wow, this is my life! I can’t believe that this is my job?”
