My name is Eden, from Israel, father of 3 young children (5,4,2). I have a law degree and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, specializing in Marketing & Strategy. I started my journey in the digital marketing & online industry back in 2010. I started as a campaign manager, then became a team leader and moved on. How Did You Get Your First Several Customers Or Users? How Many Users Or Customers Do You Have Now?

Our growth and first customers arrived from organic traffic and also from social platforms. We invest a lot in Pinterest & Youtube. If it’s done right, it can lead to exponential growth and at a low cost. If you create a great product with the right content, you are on the right track. We try to give the users the best experience. We keep improving the platform, developing it, and adding more features and quality trivia questions in essential topics. We also hire professional freelancers to help us in the areas we lack expertise. Currently, we have a few thousands of loyal users and are growing daily.

How Does Your Company Grow And Acquire New Customers?

We continue to invest in Pinterest & SEO a lot. We improved our content, UX/UI, and moved to better servers to give the users a faster experience. We added email marketing campaigns as well to improve the retention rate. There is also a strategic plan in place that includes a user acquisition tactic using paid ads campaigns on Facebook, Pinterest, and Google ads.

What Actionable Tips And Tricks Do You Have For New Founders Who Are Looking To Get Their First Thousand Users Or Dollars?

Always look for more growth options and channels you don’t know. I have 11 years of experience in the digital marketing world, and I’m always amazed to discover how much I don’t know. I always try to learn more. Always sign up for newsletters, Google alerts, and keep on networking! Another tip is to hire freelancers. The right freelancer can save you time and money in his expertise field. You can also hire consultants for one or two hours for 1-on-1 sessions. You will be amazed at how many practical tips you can get from them!

What Is Something You’ve Learned That Would Not Be Obvious To Somebody Who Hasn’t Worked In Your Space Before?

You can learn almost everything online by yourself, for free. When I’m doing my guest lecturer in the university, I always get many students’ questions after the session: “how can I start to learn this field”? “How can I get my first role if I don’t have experience”? The answer is simple. Everything is online. You just need to find it. Go to Linkedin Learning, Udemy, Youtube, search on Google, signup for different newsletters. Then, start. As Martin Luter king said, “take the first step in fate. You don’t need to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.” Acquire your experience and continue from there.

What’s The Craziest Thing That’s Happened To You (Good Or Bad) On Your Founder Journey?

The craziest and most challenging thing is to find the right partner. I believe that alone the journey is much more challenging. Choose a partner you trust and that you feel open with. You both need to add different values and points of view to the initiative. I found this partner, and it makes the journey much better!
