About Hala Chibani
Hi, I’m Hala Chibani, Intuitive Business Coach supporting Ethnic minority women in business and early stage entrepreneurs. I am the founder of Next Level Entrepreneurs, an academy dedicated to the success of start-up female entrepreneurs online.
I’m a first generation Middle Eastern immigrant in N. America and grew up in Lebanon in the midst of a civil war that lasted 16 years. We were mostly in underground shelters, taking refuge from snipers and bombs. We didn’t have many of the necessities of life, like having power and drinking water. I was doing my homework most nights on candlelight. But we were very loved. My parents did their best to give us what they can and protect us. They instilled in us strong values and a big love for education as a mean to improve ourselves.
After the war was over, I was eager to start my life. I got accepted into the American University of Beirut where I studied Business Management and immediately got onto building my career working in Human Resources management, with multinational companies like ‘Universal Music’ and the Danish retailer ‘Bestseller’- where I tripled their middle east retail locations in 3 years.
Going through the war, taught me to depend on myself from a young age, not to be phased by what’s happening around me and to focus on building emotional strengths and resiliency to continue working towards my goals. It also gave me certainty that I don’t want this life for my kids.
Years later, after another war broke out in Lebanon. My husband and I along with our 6 months old daughter fled the country on boats from Lebanon to Cyprus. We waited there in camps to be flown to America, where we embarked on a new journey.
Soon after we got there, I started working in corporate retail with the giant retailer Target as one of their store’s HR Manager. I learned and grew so much as a leader working with a corporation like Target. They embraced my diversity, I had a coach and a mentor for the first time in my life. I was delivering great team and business results, received a number of awards and promotions. Later, as part of Target’s first international expansion outside the U.S. I was relocated with my family to Canada where I helped train the leadership team and supported the opening of new stores.
Today, as an intuitive business coach, I empower professional women in business with all the knowledge & tools they need, to uncover their unique ‘Super Power’ and build the business of their dreams so they can make a global impact and reach their ideal work-life balance.
About Next Level Entrepreneurs
After decades working long hours climbing the corporate ladder, I was feeling burned out. I was no longer fulfilled by my career. I had outgrown my responsibilities and was looking for more in life. More fulfillment, more impact, more time with my family. More of everything I love. That’s when I transitioned to start my own coaching business.
I founded Next Level Entrepreneurs with one mission in mind: To empower high achieving women to overcome the fear of leaving job security behind, and say YES to starting their entrepreneurial journey online using nothing but their expertise, talent or passion. My balanced business building approach helps them reach fulfillment, happiness and financial freedom on their own terms as they make a global impact doing what they already know and love online.
It all started with taking a self-discovery journey. If you’ve been working in a 9-5 job for a while, chances are you had to adapt to the job culture and fit ‘the mold’ in some ways, disconnecting from what truly matters to you. So, first thing I did was to dive inward to identify my goals, craft a vision for the life I always thought I’d live and visualize the kind of business that would support building that life.
Here are some pivotal questions I asked myself that have helped me gain clarity on my business.
If your are currently feeling stuck and unfulfilled doing what you do, I invite you to dive inward & reflect on what you truly want. Bring those secret petitions of your heart and what you tell no one about to the surface.
If you allow it, this could be a fun and exciting journey. Ask yourself, reflect and journal on the following:
1️⃣ What’s important to me? What do I value most in life and want more of?
2️⃣ What kind of business would make me happy, fulfilled and would feel like I’m living my dream life?
3️⃣How can I live in alignment today with what I desire my life to be?
Write a list of the top things you want your new business to give you and visualize yourself as the success you desire. This was my list when I decided to take the leap and start my own online business:
– I wanted to do work that brings me joy and makes me happy- That’s exactly what coaching and mentoring does for me!
– I wanted to feel fulfilled, doing meaningful work that makes a positive impact on others-That’s exactly how I feel when I empower another woman to stand in her power and pave a new unconventional path.
– I wanted to have a better work-life balance. I wanted to be home for dinners, sports practices, to have more time to take care of my personal needs and more time to enjoy life with my loved ones!
– I also wanted to start a business that I could scale with time, automate it down the road so it runs on it’s own, giving me more time, flexibility and unlimited income potential.

The beginning is always the hardest but, I had a close network that was involved in the birth and growth of my business and referred me my first clients. Since, my business has grown quite a bit. During COVID, I’ve helped many of my corporates colleagues either pivot completely to entrepreneurship, or create a new stream of income to pandemic proof their income.

What Actionable Tips And Tricks Do You Have For New Founders Who Are Looking To Get Their First Thousand Users Or Dollars?
When you’re starting out online, it’s important to start establishing yourself as an authority in your niche. This part could be challenging for many starting entrepreneurs.
Here are two tips that will help you acquire your first clients online:
Tip#1:
Create an intentional content strategy: One of the easiest ways to attract those you want to serve is through your content. That content could be social media posts, blog posts, articles, videos..etc
The content you put out is the first impression people are gonna get when they come across your social media profile. If they like your free content, they will follow you and connect with you for more. so do your research and build a content strategy that speaks to the current needs of your clients.
The more free value you put out, the more trust you will be building and the more people will reach out to you. You must think about content strategy in a very intentional way.
Your content should be designed to create awareness for the problem you solve, to educate your followers, to engage and build trust with them, and to serve them by providing the solutions you offer.
Tip#2:
Build credibility by providing Social Proof: Get experience by coaching some of your ideal clients for free in exchange for testimonials.
Think about who really needs your solutions and the transformation you provide the most. Choose 2-3 people in your network or social media following that would truly benefit from your services and offer them a couple of free coaching sessions to provide them with a quick-win. Start by identifying a result they are looking to have and use your super power to help them reach it.
Ask them to write you a testimonial about what transformation they saw after working with you. This will give help build your credibility online and give you social proof that you can create the transformation people desire.
What Is Something You’ve Learned That Would Not Be Obvious To Somebody Who Hasn’t Worked In Your Space Before?
Simple strategies are always the most effective in business. Don’t let social pressure dictate what you do in your business. You’ll hear so many online ‘gurus’ recommending you do this, or that. Launch this way or that way….all that does is create overwhelm for you and steer you away from building a business that is aligned with your values and your strengths.
You don’t need to adopt every marketing strategy out there in your business in order to be successful.
Follow the rule of one. Focus on offering one service you are most aligned with at first. Choose to show up on one social media platform at first. Decide on one strategy to launch your offer-the strategy that feels intuitively most aligned with you and know that this will be the most effortless and effective. Master that one first, get results from it before tackling another.
I’ve learned how to grow my business faster by keeping things simple and leaning into my intuition in my business.
Intuition exists in all of us, whether we acknowledge it or not. The more we can lean into it, the more we can use it to shape our lives and carve a path that makes us truly happy.
I work with a lot of women that are like myself, coming from the corporate world and are used to making rational, analytical and conscious decisions .
Throughout the 3 months period of working together, I help them break free from that pattern. Utilize this internal tool-their intuition and tap into who they really are inside and what truly they want. It’s almost like awakening a giant force inside of them that fuels a new direction in their life. That’s their uniqueness and what will differentiate them from others
Creating this alignment between our mind and heart is crucial and it’s often what is missing for many entrepreneurs caught up in hustle mode.
What’s The Craziest Thing That’s Happened To You (Good Or Bad) On Your Founder Journey?
Everyone says entrepreneurship is a lonely journey and it sure can be, but it doesn’t have to be. It is a choice we make, just like everything else in our life.
With so many women going into entrepreneurship, I connected and built a small, but great community of likeminded ambitious women who support and cheer each other on and it has made all the difference for us. It is such a huge unexpected benefit of starting my business!
Today’s entrepreneurship is more about connection, collaboration, exchanging ideas and being amongst people who understand you and support you to keep going.
