About Neel Mehta
My name is Neel Mehta, and I am the Co-founder and Chief Negotiator at Car Concierge Pro. I pursued a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Informatics from Arizona State University, USA. Starting a car concierge offering boutique service-based business is serendipity, from healthcare to auto concierge industry. My hobby is philately, and I enjoy attending (virtual) concerts, high-fiving DJ Kygo, and flexing my negotiating skills for my client’s car deals.
I have been one of the speakers at TEDx Ellisbridge. I got recognized to be AZ Top Tech Executive by Phoenix Business Journal, 35 entrepreneurs 35 and younger by USA Today, and AZ Business Leader by AZ Big Media.
About Car Concierge Pro
Car Concierge Pro negotiates car prices with dealerships. Our clients saved over $203,000 in total on their car deals without even having to negotiate! We simplify the car selection process based on the customer’s preference, budget, and timeline. We specialize in providing a seamless and hassle-free car purchase experience. My friends and previous clients say – “Call Neel for a Deal.”
I was in a dilemma while buying a new car, Nissan Rogue, I was a Ph. D. student at Arizona State University, USA. Every car dealer was selling the same car at different prices, which got me frustrated with the process. And so, I decided to get a new vehicle at the lowest price. After spending three weeks of sleepless nights, I eventually ended up saving $7450 in the process of purchasing the car.
I figured that the entire car buying process is time-consuming, exhausting, and demands extra efforts like superior negotiation skills if you want to save dollars on the deal. Once my friends found out about this story and my negotiating skills, they started reaching out to me for their car deals. I brought about a positive change in people’s lives using my negotiation skills to save my client’s hard-earned money. That’s how it all started. My passion drove me all the way!

What Is Something You’ve Learned That Would Not Be Obvious To Somebody Who Hasn’t Worked In Your Space Before?
Not bragging, but the reason why I am so good at negotiating car deals is that I have done extensive research on the reasons behind the difference in car prices at various dealerships. Car dealerships make millions if not billions over the long haul by making customers pay some of the “hidden” fees or so-called dealer add-ons (addendums). That’s where I jump in to make them understand what’s right and what’s an add-on. After curating over 100 deals and negotiating for over 500 hours with the dealerships, I have learned negotiating fiercely to get the best deals for my clients.
What’s The Craziest Thing That’s Happened To You (Good Or Bad) On Your Founder Journey?
Since 2018, I started building my website and designing business cards for Car Concierge Pro. Initially, I went from dealership to dealership with my clients to negotiate car pricing, but most of the time, it was a futile process. The dealers didn’t entertain shopping around for car prices. Also, negotiating car prices took hours, and it wasn’t a pleasant experience for my clients.
I had to figure out a way to make this process time-efficient, cost-effective, and provide convenience. With time, I hired an analyst and a researcher who takes into account the client’s specific requirements to find the best deals matching our internal benchmarks. Once my team determines the best deals, I then proceed and negotiate with the dealerships. This way, we can pass on the savings to our clients from all the hassle and inconvenience.
