Roxane Gay is an American writer, professor, editor, and commentator. She is the author of the short story collection Ayiti, the novel An Untamed State, and the essay collection Bad Feminist. She is the co-editor of PANK Magazine and the founder of PANK Books. She is currently an associate professor of English at Purdue University, and is the co-director of the Purdue Writing Center.
